NBA Birthdays: Players born on Sept. 11

With over 5,000 players in NBA history, at least one player was born on every day of the calendar year – including three leap-day ballers. Our day-by-day breakdown of the players born on each day of the year continues.
Below are the most notable NBA players born on Sep. 11.
Gerald Wilkins (Sept. 11, 1963): Selected by the New York Knicks in the second round of the 1985 NBA Draft (47th overall selection), Wilkins played 900 games over 13 NBA seasons with four teams — the Knicks (1985-1992), Cavaliers (1992-1994), Grizzlies (1995-96) and Magic (1996-1999) — amassing 11,736 points (13 ppg), 2,646 rebounds (2.9 rpg) and 2,697 assists (3 apg). The younger brother of Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins, the siblings teamed briefly in Orlando before their respective careers ended.
Shaun Livingston (Sept. 11, 1985): Making the leap from high school to the NBA, Livingston was the fourth overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the LA Clippers. Livingston was having a career year (9.3 ppg, 5.1 apg in 29.8 mpg) when he suffered a debilitating knee injury that limited him to 38 games over the next three seasons. After stops in Miami, Oklahoma City, Washington, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Cleveland and Brooklyn, Livingston joined the Golden State Warriors in 2014-15 and was a key reserve on three championship teams.
